CLEAN ME DRY

And the lights go out! 

In the midst of a photo shoot the lights go out. Something that I’m quite familiar with. What was unexpected was the type of circuit breaker, or lack thereof, and where the NOT circuit breaker was located. 

We were shooting in a Hair Salon that was built in the early 70’s. Adjacent to the salon is a Dry Cleaner. Come to find out, the electrical panel and FUSE BOX (yep, glass screw on style fuses) was located in the basement under the Dry Cleaner. 

The entire basement was a workshop for the Dry Cleaner.   And, all the Dry Cleaning equipment was from an era when Cadillacs, The Village People and Disco were supreme.
